Creating. That's how this all began. I enjoyed creating images. I began taking photos in middle school with a point-and-shoot and some friends. It continued into high school when I began experimenting in portraiture. For high school graduation, my parents helped me buy my first DSLR camera and I learned how to operate it. As my passion for taking photos continued to grow, others began to notice. Hired photoshoots fell into place. A few years later, here I am.
It's crazy how it all happened. I am grateful for each and every person who has trusted me to capture the special moments in their lives. From newborn photos to wedding days, each photo session holds unique importance.
This session (my third one with Amber and Justin, including their wedding day) inspired me to do just that. It was a snowy day, so they asked that we find an indoor place. It allowed me to step out of my comfort zone (thanks to Work the Metal and Nulu shoppes). I was reminded of how I began this journey: just creating.
